Program (AFRICAP)
With a ceiling value of $1.5 billion, the Department of State’s Africa Peacekeeping Program (AFRICAP), is a top opportunity anticipated for release before the close of fiscal 2014.
AFRICAP is intended to provide training and advisory services, equipment procurement, logistical support, maritime security, capacity building, operational deployment for peacekeeping troops, aerial surveillance, conference facilitation and construction services to African countries. The program has more than 70 task orders awarded to date and more $730 million in reported obligations and was the Department of State’s second most utilized contract vehicle in FY 2013.
