The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) released its annual “State CIO Priorities for 2015” survey, documenting the programs, initiatives and technologies that state IT leaders will be pursuing over the next 12 months. The survey is broken down into two lists: priorities and technologies, and usually provides an accurate picture of what topics weigh heaviest on the minds of chief information officers (CIOs).

Deltek uses these lists to track how priorities change year over year and provide guidance on where the market is heading. This year we saw both lists follow a familiar pattern: little change in the highest priorities and big change everywhere else.

Get briefed on the history of NASCIO priorities, related opportunities tracked in the GovWin IQ database and what a nationwide analysis of the state government IT landscape revealed in the free report.

Highlights Include:

  • Identifying top IT opportunities that align with key priorities and demands of state chief information officers, as outlined in the 2015 National Association of State Chief Information Officers Top 10 CIO Priorities List
  • Major requirements for each opportunity
  • Additional market catalysts and trends across all state and local vertical
  • Strategy development to prepare for and maximize opportunities within the growing state and local IT market.
