Meet Dan Carusi, Deltek As current Vice President & Chief Learning Officer for Deltek, Dan Carusi doesn’t know which he likes more – teaching or learning. A father of two, Scout leader and coach, Dan is often learning as much from the kids as they are learning from him (or possibly more). With more than 20 years of experience, Dan is responsible for overseeing Deltek University and the Talent & Learning organization, where he oversees all aspects of talent management, curriculum development, operations & delivery, global employee & customer education and Human Capital consulting – often using what he learns from the kids as tools for teaching, with the end goal of making life-long learners out of everyone. Prior to Deltek, Dan held leadership positions with Learning Tree International, Verizon Business, MCI, AT&T and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, offering a unique blend of industry experience to include hospitality, telecom and training. Dan was a graduate of Moravian College with a BA in History and is a current member of the Moravian College Leadership Council. Dan along with the 1989 Men’s Track & Field team was recently inducted into the Moravian College Hall of Fame. |

Meet Stephen Carver, Cranfield University Prior to Cranfield, Stephen worked on projects in the oil business before moving on to work at Virgin before working directly for a global CEO as head of Project & Programme Management Strategy. He has experience of Project and Programme Management in almost all business sectors from banks to oil and from construction to law firms. He has lectured and consulted globally and is highly experienced in presenting ideas in a way that bridges different cultural and organisational differences. He is an Honorary Fellow of The Institute of Risk Management and an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Project Management. |

Meet Kim Koster, Deltek Kim Koster is Senior Director) at Deltek, a leading provider of program controls and earned value management software for project focused businesses. Kim has 21 years experience in program management specializing in financial management. She spent those years working for Raytheon and ATK. Kim held management positions such as Product Line Business Manager, Javelin JV Controller, EVMS Focal Point, and Business Systems Director. She has been a trainer in her organizations and has provided guidance to many project and executive teams. Kim is the co-author of three publications, EVM, IPM, Gov Con, and Project-Based ERP for DummiesTM. She holds a BBA from the University of North Texas. |

Meet James Malkin, Deltek Currently the Director IPM - International for Deltek. Previously the PMO Director for General Dynamics European Land Systems where he led the implementation of professional development, process development, project management tools and practices across the business for the entire project lifecycle from business capture through to project completion. Jim has over 18 years of project management experience across many industry sectors and has been volunteering for the Association for Project Management (APM) since 2002 and is a member of the Planning, Monitoring & Control Specific Interest Group (PMC-SIG). |

Meet Tom Mazich, Deltek As Deltek's Executive Vice President and General Manager – GovCon, Tom Mazich is responsible for managing Deltek's GovCon business company-wide. He oversees enterprise software sales and consulting services in the GovCon business unit to deliver comprehensive solutions that power the complete business lifecycle of government contractors. |

Meet Natalie Moyes, Deltek Natalie is the International Director for EMEA, specializing in the PPM suite of products. Natalie’s experience includes working for xx, a learning and development company where she built the foundation for supporting Deltek’s mantra of people, processes and toolset. |

Meet John Owen, Deltek John is the Product Manager for the Schedule and Risk components of the Deltek PPM Solution. After managing a computer department dedicated to project scheduling in the Oil and Gas industry for 5 years, John saw the light in 1986 and joined Welcom in London to support and develop the Open Plan project scheduling system. In 2003 John moved to Houston, Texas to assume the role of Vice President of Development with responsibility for development of the entire Welcom Project Management solution including Cobra, Open Plan and WelcomRisk. Since 2009 John has managed the Deltek IPM Sustaining Engineering group before transitioning back to Product Management in April 2012. |

Meet Taylor Simon, Transport for London Taylor is the Functional Head of Planning at Transport for London. Mr. Simon’s specialties include Programme Planning, Programme Controls, Earned Value, Data Analysis, Programme Reporting, Issue/Risk Management, and Integrated Planning. Mr. Simon is accountable for the strategic leadership, improvement and governance for project and programme planning across TFL’s £2billion plus annual capital programme. |

Meet David Tween, Price Systems Dave has spent over 35 years working in Manufacturing Engineering, Cost Estimating, Project Management, Programme management and General management, in the Manufacturing, Logistics, IT, Software Development and Retail sectors in the UK, Europe and the US. He is a former company Director with extensive experience in the design and implementation of complex solutions for Ford Motor Company, Jaguar Land Rover, EDS, Dell, HP,NCR HAYS DX and Diageo. Now firmly back in the Cost Estimating arena with PRICE Systems he is using his expertise to implement integrated Cost Estimating solutions in the automotive sector. Based on his background and experience Dave is a fanatical believer in the importance of the role of the Estimator in the project life cycle and this will form the basis of his presentation. |

Meet Steve Wake, APM Steve Wake has an MA in Organisational Behaviour. He's worked in the print, automotive, aerospace, defence, FMCG, insurance, I.T., industries as a project manager and consultant. He is an internationally acknowledged expert on Earned Value Project Management. He is a core author of the PMI Global Practice Standard, Chief examiner for Earned Value with APMG and chairman of the Planning Monitoring and Control SIG for the UK APM whose EV guideline is used for major contracts and is reciprocal with the US ANSI 748 standard. He also is the advisor on the high profile PMIUK Synergy events as well as national and international EV conferences. He was appointed to the Board of UK APM for 3 years in November 2012. |
