The MDA’s Integrated Research Development For Enterprise Solutions (IRES) is the follow–on contract to the Joint National Integration Center (JNIC) Research and Development Contract (JRDC). The IRES vision is to enable MDA stakeholders to achieve Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) mission objectives by providing IT professional services in support of system integration and interoperability. The government anticipates this to be a single award contract with a ceiling value of $5.75 billion and a small business subcontracting plan of 40 percent.
