Case Study:

Applicant Tracking System Key to BHG's Continued Success

From its inception in 2006, BHG was able to get by using a simple manual recruiting process. However, as the company grew and hundreds of applications came flooding in, Human Resources found it difficult to manage the manual recruiting process.

This led to a loss of applications in the transition from the HR department to the hiring managers, and posed difficulties in keeping track of which résumés had already been vetted. The more résumés they received, the more time-consuming, tedious, and inefficient the process became. LeMona Haydin, Corporate Recruiter for BHG, recalls, “All of the paper résumés were going to one location. The HR department at the time had to browse through them, screen them, send them out to the appropriate location for the program director to review. Things would fall through the cracks, we wouldn’t hear back about a particular résumé, so it was difficult to follow up with an applicant.”
